Today we are talking about bedding and what to look for when buying it. Did you know that bedding plays an extremely important role in your sleep? The right bedding will support the effectiveness of your super luxurious down comforter, which will only add to the quality of your sleep!

So, what should you look for when buying bedding? We always recommend choosing a fabric that breathes well. This will allow your down comforter to absorb enough air to keep it nice and full. If your comforter doesn't get enough air, the down feathers can flatten, which is not ideal! You will also sweat more because there is no good circulation.

We recommend staying as close to nature as possible. Nature has so much beauty to offer us. Many attempts have been made to copy Mother Nature to meet mass production and consumption needs. But if we respect nature, we maintain that the original is always the best option.

In addition to the raw material, there are several factors that ultimately determine the quality of the textile.
One of these elements is the thread fineness. Usually, the finer the thread, the better the quality. Another reference is the number of threads per square centimeter. Generally, the rule is that the more threads, the better. However, it is important to keep the ultimate goal of the textile in mind. Sometimes it is just more comfortable to have a lower thread count per square centimeter.

Another element is the length of the thread. Long fibers have a more pleasant, smoother result. Short fibers tend to pill or fuzz faster.
Moisture absorption, which amount of moisture can the fabric absorb in relation to its own weight…

There are several other elements that influence quality as well.
It is important to remember that all of these elements together create an idea of the quality of the fabric. Relying solely on one of the above elements can provide a distorted picture. For example, we could determine that a certain fabric has a very high thread count. And that the threads are very thin. Great! But what is not mentioned is that these are very short pieces twisted together. The result is a thin fabric that quickly pills.
