The history of Fja-Oeyen begins with Frans Jozef Albert (FJA) Oeyen, a master tailor who discovered the unique properties of down during World War II. His experience with this special material led to the founding of Fja-Oeyen, where he applied his craft skills to create luxurious down duvets. Together with his son Gust, who added the commercial flair, Frans built a company that would become known for its dedication to quality and customer satisfaction.
Today, Fja-Oeyen is still a family business, where the knowledge and expertise of four generations of craftsmanship are reflected in every duvet that leaves the studio.
